1978 KENNER DARCI DOLL LOT Redhead & Blonde DARCI & Hard To Find ERICA Doll

  

I BOUGHT A BIG BOX OF 60s and 70s DOLLS AT A YARD SALE 2 YEARS AGO JUST TO GET A 60s BARBIE THAT WAS IN THERE - I do not know much about the other dolls as I played with mine in the 1960s. I will do my best to describe them. If I mess up - or you need more info - please write to me. This is a lot of DARCI DOLLS BY KENNER 1978.

I believe we have 2 Darcis - a blonde and a redhead - plus an Erica doll that is supposed to be a bit harder to find. They all have mostly the same writing on the back except for Erica - the word CINNCINATI is spelled out on her and she has # 47400 - the others have Cin'ti and #47000. CONDITION: All have all their limbs intact, all need to be surface cleaned as they were played with. The blonde doll has a beautiful face, but a few green spots on her upper arms.

The redhead has a spot on her forehead, Erica has a faint dot on her cheek and a tiny red mark on her eyebrow. None of the dolls has splits in the rubber. Erica has the best body- it is very clean, parts move perfectly.

Redhead Darci has the next best body - surface soiling but works well, Blonde has the previously mentioned green spots, but her limbs move freely. The heads are all secure - no bobble heads! Erica and the blonde doll get 3 clicks on each bendable leg - the redhead doll gets 3 clicks on one and 2 on the other. Dolls were wearing the clothes shown - some have bracelets.

If I find clothes in this box that belong to Darci - I will add them in. Condition of this lot is very good.
