This is a very hard-to-find, gorgeous, fully tested and working Canon FD 28-85mm f4 General Purpose Lens designed for manual focus vintage cameras such as the Canon A-1, AE-1, AE-1 Program, T90, T70, T60, T50, AT-1, AV-1, F-1, F-1N, FTb etc. It will not work on the Canon EOS Auto Focus Film or Digital Bodies without a adapter.

Cosmetically the lens is in mint condition with no dings, no dents, no paint wear and no engravings. All letters and wording are clean, bright and complete. The glass has no scratches, no fungus and NO HAZE.

The focus and zoom are both smooth. It is quite common in this model of lens to have a small amount of play in the focusing ring. Rest assure the focusing still works - I just felt it needed to be accurately disclosed. The apertures are snappy with no leaky oil. It comes with a Canon 72mm front cap, a Canon back cap, a mint Hoya HMC 72mm UV Filter, a Canon LH-C16 Hard lens Case (shows some light wear on the outside but is clean on the inside with new foam top and bottom), and a 45 page color/glossy Canon FD Lens Guide Book (Lens Wonderland). Frequently, lenses, even when brand new, will have a slight amount of dust visible within the lens elements. This is a result of the manufacturing process and will not affect image quality or resolution. As a result, used lenses may exhibit the same consistencies.
